TORPEDO-2005

TORPEDO-2005 will expand upon the TORPEDO benchmark developed in 2004. TORPEDO-2004 defines a single, simple metric of Object-Relational Mapping Software -- the number of database "hits".

Other metrics are possible. For example, the amount of data transfered between the database server and the application server. Metrics not related to runtime performance are also possible. For instance, TORPEDO-2005 could measure the number of object - relational mappings that are supported by a particular product.

We are soliciting feedback from the greater Enterprise Software Community and from vendors of Object Relational Mapping Software on the definition of TORPEDO-2005.
